Under the situation of considering the soil nailing effects on stability of soil slope, according to the damage mode of the slip surface of slope, the plastic limit theorem and pseudo static method, stability model of slope supported by soil nailing under earthquake was set up. The energy dissipation formula on slip surface and the function relationship between stability factor of safety and the center of circular slip surface were derived. Calculation of the stability of slip surface was carried out by using the genetic algorithm. The results show that the proposal method avoids the shortcoming which local minimum was obtained in circular arc search; it can consider the influence of pore water pressure on stability and can be used in loess region with homogeneous soil suitably.
