摘要 | A finite element (FE) analysis model was developed to study the pure torsional behavior of circular concrete-filled steel tubular(CFST) members with encased profiled steel based using ABAQUS. The reasonable constitutive models of steel and core concrete, element type and boundary conditions were used in the FE model. The FE models of steel reinforce concrete (SRC) and CFST members were established to verify the efficiency of modeling method compared with the others' experimental results under pure torsion. The load versus deformation curves, characteristics of stress distribution and torsion distribution were investigated respectively. The parametric studies were conducted in terms of strength of concrete and steel tube, ratio of steel tube, ratio of profiled steel, strength of profiled steel and slenderness ratio. The results show that the outer tube will carry out most of the torsional moment. The strength of steel tube, ratio of steel tubes and slenderness ratio have significant influence on the curves of torsional moment versus maximum sectional shear strain. The circular CFST members with encased profiled steel exhibit excellent behavior to resist torsion. |
