Aerodynamic characteristics analysis of wind turbine based on similarity theory

摘要Taking 33 kW wind turbine as the research object, the scale models were established by the Reynolds model and motion similarity method, respectively to carry out 3D steady numerical calculation and analyze the flow situation of blade surface of the similar operating points and aerodynamic performance parameters. The results show that the flow situation of blade surface of the wind turbine scale model and the pressure coefficient of different blade span sections are both similar to the prototype for Reynolds model method, and the relative difference of the conversion results of the force characteristic parameters are within 2%. So it may save calculation time, reduce the computing resources by using Reynolds model method, and estimate the aerodynamic characteristics of original wind turbine effectively. © 2015, Science Press.
