摘要 | A novel laser-vision method was proposed for detecting the weld pool oscillation frequency. The reflected laser images which could reflect weld pool variations were captured by the high speed camera. An image processing algorithm for extracting the laser lines was designed. In order to study the effect of window size on oscillation frequency, the frequency of different pixel values of window were extracted and analyzed by the mode of weld pool surface oscillation. The results show that the laser vision method can precisely measure the weld pool oscillation of different directions. The partial selected window can give rise to the loss information of oscillation. Therefore, the selected window must contain all reflected laser lines. © 2016, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Press.
