Shock resistance performance of single-layer spherical reticulated dome with lower supporting column

摘要In order to study the shock resistance of single-layer reticulated dome with lower supporting columns, a large number of examples was analysed. The impact modes and energy transfer/conversion relations were summerized making use of various impact models of the whole structure, as the lower columns were subjected to impact loading. A regularity analysis was made from the following three aspects: different impact height, mass and speed. The results show that the impact modes of structure under impact loads can be divided into four types. During the first impact, the strain energy of structure accounts for about 10%~40% of the total energy and it can't be neglected. The displacement and stress of structure increase with the increase of impact height, while the energy decreases firstly and then increases. The displacement and stress increases with the increase of impact mass and speed. The mass ratio of 1.0 can be taken as the critical point of energy distribution. © 2015, Chinese Vibration Engineering Society. All right reserved.
