Synthesis and property of P (St/AA) magnetic polymer microspheres

摘要The magnetic polymer microspheres were produced by dispersion polymerization method. Experiments were performed with styrene monomer, Fe3O4 magnetic fluid, acrylic acid as the functional monomer and N, N-methylene-bis-acrylamide as the cross-linking monomer. The properties of the magnetic polymer microspheres were examined by XRD, FT-IR, SEM, 752N spectrophototmeter and chemical titration. The influence of N, N-Methylene-bis-acrylamide on magnetic polymer microspheres was researched. The results show that with the increase of cross-linking agent, microspheres particle size become small, particle size distribution broadens, surface carboxyl content increases, acid and alkaline resistance enhancements. The best content of cross-linking agent should be 4% of monomer dosage.
