Preparation of helical nanostructure ZnS by solvothermal method

摘要Helical nanostructure ZnS were successfully prepared by solvothermal method using zinc acetate and sodium sulphide as raw materials. The composition, morphology, microstructure and optical property of the sample were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), the corresponding selected area electron diffraction (SAED), X-ray energy spectrum (EDS), UV-vis absorption spectroscopy(UV-vis) and photoluminescence spectrum(PL). The results showed that the sample is one-dimensional hexagonal crystal ZnS and grows along the [001] direction, and also has helical structure, with lengths in the range of 100-200 nm, the diameter about 5-15 nm, and pitch about 20 nm. The UV-vis absorption band of the helical nanostructure ZnS show blue-shift compared with that of bulk ZnS.
