摘要 | For the purpose of examining the validity and accuracy of direct finite element method to dealing with generalized magneto-thermoelastic rotation problems in the context of Lord and Shulman theory(L-S), this method was used to solve a generalized electromagneto-thermoelastic coupled dynamic problem of a rotating half-space. The L-S type generalized electromagneto-thermoelastic coupled governing equations were given, and the general form of virtual displacement principle as well as the corresponding finite element equations were formulated in this paper. The distributions of dimensionless temperature, dimensionless displacement, dimensionless stress and dimensionless induced magnetic field were displayed graphically. From the distribution of temperate, the unique characteristic of heat wave front can be clearly observed in the location of heat wave front where a sharp change of temperature occurs. And it also can be found that rotation acts to decrease the magnitude of the displacement, the stress and the induced magnetic field while barely has effect on the magnitude of temperature. The obtained results show that the method is effective to obtain high calculation accuracy for generalized two-dimensional electromagneto-themoelastic rotating problem in the frame of L-S theory. |
