At present,sulfur source adopted in PbS/PbSe QDs synthesis method reported in the literature generally include:TOP,TOPO,TMS and other organic sulfur source,whose prices are so expensive,toxic as well,is not conducive to large doses synthesis.That goes against the concept of green chemistry.In this paper,we introduce a better alternative way which is easier to operate and more environment friendly to synthesis PbS/PbSe QDs.Basically,we prepare successfully size-adjustable PbS QDs by controlled the growth conditions.What's more,we carried out a thorough analysis on the growth mechanism of quantum dots with different shapes and sizes.The method we used is so-called Hot-Injection with inorganic sulfur and selenium powder,lead oxide powder and non-coordinating solvent come together to produce chemical reaction in detail.As is stated above,our method is not only green,inexpensive,but also have advantages of simple operation,mild reaction conditions and good repeatability.
