摘要 | Gas-hydrate-associated technologies, which have a bright development prospect, can be extensively applied to industrial fields involving the cool storage of gas hydrates, separation of mixed gases, seawater desalination, concentration of aqueous solution, etc. To investigate the influences of pressure disturbance on the formation process of gas hydrates, the formation process of HCFC-141b hydrates was studied through experiments. Our results indicate that pressure disturbance can remarkably facilitate the formation process of the gas hydrates. The gas hydrates were formed at a high rate in the first 60 h and subsequently the formation rate decelerated during the experiment. The pressure disturbance stimulated the hydration reaction that was about to stagnate to regenerate the hydrates, at an average formation rate of 0.053 mm/h. © 2018, SHPMedia Sdn Bhd.
