摘要	Winter’s Method which is a mathematical statistical forecasting method builds a kind of models in the prediction scheduling. The model of Winter’s Method should generate a lot of solutions. The selection of solutions will impact the accuracy of predicted results. This paper proposes the Scatter Search algorithm to solve the model built by Winter’s Method for the best solution. The forecasting model is as the objective function. The parameters of the smoothing index, the variation of the curve and the season are as the independent variables in the process of the scatter search algorithm. The best solution is obtained by numbers of iterations. The simulations show the best solutions are obtained by using the scatter search algorithm to solve the forecasting model. The best solutions improve the accuracy of the prediction results. © Sila Science. All Rights Reserved.
