摘要	Pixels in regular-textured regions, as well as in low-textured regions, are subject to having bad matches in many stereo matching algorithm. In this paper, we employ belief propagation algorithm to obtain initial disparity maps. To handle regular texture and occlusion, we detect and analyse regular-textured regions with nearest neighbor searching. Then, a graph-based segment method is applied to represent the reference image as a collection of superpixels. Thus, The outliers in each superpixel of the initial disparity map can be removed via RANSAC algorithm. The occlusions are detected with cross-checking in each superpixel. Experimental results show the superior performance of the proposed method. © 2009 by Binary Information Press.
