Energy levels and transition probabilities of quartet Rydberg series in boron-like silicon

摘要Excited-state energy levels for quartet states 1s(2)2l2l'nl '' (n=2-7; l=s, p; l' = s, p; l '' = s, p, d, f) pertaining to L-4(e,o) (m) (L = S, P, D; m =1-5) Rydberg series in Si9+ ion are studied, using multi-configuration Rayleigh-Ritz variation method. Corrections for the relativistic effects, mass polarization effect, and quantum electrodynamics (QED) effect are taken into account to obtain the accurate relativistic energies. Transition probabilities, line strengths, oscillator strengths, and wavelengths of electric-dipole transitions between these quartet states are systematically calculated and compared with available reference data. These calculated data could be used for the identification of spectral lines arising from the coronal atmospheres and experimental study in future work.
