摘要The claw-type hydrogen circulation pump has the advantages of smooth gas delivery, wide range of adapted working conditions, high efficiency, etc., which is the key equipment of the fuel cell system. In this paper, a new type of elliptical claw rotor is proposed by the combination of elliptical line, circular arc and pendulum line, and the equation of the line is calculated and deduced, and the distribution law of the flow field in the working chamber is obtained based on numerical simulation, and the internal flow characteristics, the working process, the change rule of the pressure, speed and the resisting moment are analysed. The results show that the elliptical claw rotor is subjected to a smaller gas resisting moment compared with the traditional cycloidal hydrogen circulating pump. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
