摘要 | To alleviate the contradiction between the supply and demand of spectrum resources in the large-scale 5G network environment, we propose the minimum remaining idle time channel selection scheme under imperfect spectrum sensing (MRIC-IS) in combination with actual cognitive radio ad hoc networks (CRAHNs) environment. In this scheme, secondary users (SU s) select the available channel with the minimum remaining idle time and catches sensing errors in the form of misdetection and false alarm. By analyzing the resource flow process between primary users (PUs) and SUs in the primary channel and the effect of sensing errors on the resource flow process, we build a two-layer 2-D continuous-time Markov chains (CTMC) and its equilibrium equation system. Then the expressions for the performance measures as spectrum utilization and SUs average throughput are derived after obtaining system steady-state distribution. The numerical simulation results show that this scheme can significantly improve spectrum efficiency and SU average throughput in the fifth generation (5G) cognitive radio ad hoc networks, even under spectrum sensing errors. © 2023 IEEE. |
