摘要 | The association between temperature and cardiovascular disease has been widely reported. In the city of Jiuquan, a developing area that has seldom been studied, the association is still unclear. The hospital data of cardiovascular disease (CVD) admissions and meteorological data were collected from the new rural cooperative medical insurance of Gansu Province and China Meteorological Science Data Sharing Service, respectively. A total of 26,383 cases were admitted during the research period. Poisson regression with a distributed lag nonlinear model was selected to evaluate the association between temperature and the hospital admissions of CVD. Subgroup analysis was performed according to gender and age. At first, the low temperature effect was obvious, but it then attenuated at lags 0-7 days. The maximum impact caused by high temperature occurred on the current day (lag 0) and then attenuated along the lag days. The cold effect was more harmful than heat effect. The adults and males were found to be more vulnerable to the temperature than the elderly and females, respectively. The study provides some reference for the development of the local public health by quantifying these impacts. |
