摘要 | In recent years utilization of renewable energy attracts much attention from various viewpoints. However, renewable energies such as solar and wind are dependent upon climate and the stability of energy supply is a difficult matter. In contract, underground geothermal has a great advantage in stability although its developing cost is still high. Thus, utilization of relatively low-cost shallow geothermal, which is usually referred to the ground heat resource to the depth of several ten meters, has been concerned considerably and some illustrative cases such as air-conditioning of houses are reported. In such a shallow geothermal collecting system the pump used to circulate refrigerant solution occupies the most of power consumptions. Therefore, a combined utilization of renewable energies is contrived for reducing power consumptions of shallow geothermal collection system and an air-lift pump using pressurized air generated by solar and wind powers is developed at first. The liquid flow rate of the pump reaches to 12 L/min under the given condition and is larger than 8 L/min when the air flow rate is increased to 12.0 L/min while the submerged depth of air injector is over 5.0 ~10 m. The applicability of the air-lift pump to the extra-shallow geothermal collecting system adopted in the illustrative house of LOHAS established in Nihon University is confirmed. © ICOPE 2019 - 7th International Conference on Power Engineering, Proceedings.
