摘要	Towards the dispute for different translation methodologies, the skopos theory put forward by Christiane Nord offered another approach which effectively avoids the dispute between translation methods and focuses on the readability of target language text as well as the conveyance of the cultural ingredients in source language texts. With equal functions between source language and target language considered, instrumental translation could be achieved through methods like equifunctional translation, heterofunctional translation and homologous translation so that the function of source text could be effectively maintained for target readers. © 2015 Taylor & Francis Group, London.
