Study on pressure turbulence for growth process promotion of propane hydrate

摘要In order to acquire fast formation method of gas hydrate, visual experiments of propane hydrate formation have been carried out to study the influence of pressure turbulence on growth process promotion and formation parameters including layer thickness, growth rate and driving force have been analyzed with driving force calculation in formation process. The results show that, after 35 hours' suspension, hydrate reaction restarts when the pressure was increased to the initial pressure, 0.1 MPa higher than that before turbulence, and thickness at gas-liquid interface linearly increases at the rate of 0.5 mm/h in first two hours and sharply decreases subsequently, and average growth rate is 0.04 mm/h in 175 hours after turbulence.
